In normal circumstances fire would be extinguished with water, but it seems they are unlikely allies now. The fire you play as was caused by gasoline, classifying it as a class B fire, which get's stronger from water rather than weakening. Therefore, collect as much water droplets to last longer before simply losing fuel.
